Thanksgiving day was great! My family and I shared lots of good food, laughter, and fun with my new son-in-law, and his family.
And when I tell you I GORGED on sweet potato pie, banana pudding, apple pie and cheesecake… I am NOT exaggerating!
Yep, it was a good day.
However, the day after Thanksgiving? Not so good.
I. felt. like. CRAP! Super groggy, terrible headache, and I just wanted to stay in bed the entire day.
I didn’t know what the h*!! was going on, but all I kept thinking was, “I feel hungover.”
Now, while I’ve had alcohol before, I’ve never experienced an actual hangover from it. But based on what I’ve heard of them, I’d suffice it to say, what I experienced was pretty darn close.
I wasn’t sure if a sugar hangover was an actual thing or not so, I “Googled” it and sure enough, it WAS!
