So after watching the inspirational documentary, Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead we bought a new juicer.
Now, we are by no means “juicing virgins” as we’ve owned juicers in the past and actually still have a couple of them.
We’ve had older model/style centrifugal juicers and masticating ones. But we we wanted to try the big mouth one and we live it and use it daily!
Well today I made cranberry-apple by juicing:
- 2 Gala apples
- 1 Granny Smith apple
- a handful of cranberries
- small handful of red grapes (about 20 grapes)
I put it over crushed ice and it is DELICIOUS – not to mention it’s completely free of all the other additives in the store-bought, bottled stuff!
Nope, Oceanspray (or any other cheap knock-off brands) ain’t got nothin on this!
